On Cloud 9

Clouds have always fascinated me. I enjoy looking at the sky every day just to see the clouds. I like to think that they are God's way of saying to us to look for the silver lining in every circumstance no matter how hard it may be. Do I always feel like I'm on cloud 9? Absolutely not, but it doesn't stop me from enjoying clouds 1-8!

A Perfect Ending

If I could only have one, sunrise or sunset, I'd pick sunset, hands down! I guess that's why I'm a night owl and not a morning person! :)

About Me

Karen Hess: Pennsylvania, United States; Single and that's a mouthful right there :), I happen to share the same birth date with my mom. I'm always ready for a good laugh (which my "children" seem to provide on a daily basis!). I LOVE chocolate and love to cook/bake. I enjoy trying new things, being adventurous, and living each day to the fullest, definitely not the same person I was 12 years ago! I'm a night owl, but dread the alarm clock ringing in the morning. I really enjoy my job even though it can be very interesting at times, but I wouldn't trade all those little smiles and giggles that greet me in the morning. I love to travel. I have been to so many beautiful places that it's hard to pick a favorite spot although I do so love the West - especially Jackson Hole, Wyoming. I have one more state to visit before I can claim visiting all 50. I prefer any season except summer (for the most part), and I love snow! That's odd I know, but after practically growing up on a snowmobile, ya gotta love it! I enjoy spending time with my family and extended family - what fun we have together!
