For the First Time Ever!

Today we had these little downy woodpeckers at our bird feeder. Yesterday I put out some suet and by this afternoon, we had all kinds of birds flying in and out. My mom told me to run for my camera and amazingly they were still there. Any other time that I get my camera, all the birds fly away. Last year I waited for weeks to get a good picture of the cardinals. Anyway, the top picture is the male and the bottom is the female. It appears like they learned to sit for their food!
